Meet the Crew:
Phil Stombaugh, Pastor:
Phil and his wonderful wife Kristin were approached with the idea of starting a church plant in the spring of 2013. The church start as neighborhood invites and community outreach.
They have experienced 26 years of marriage, and enjoy the talents of two amazing kids, Felicity and Trey.
On top of that he pastor a flock of of more than 50 adults and kids that are hungry to apart of a family. He shows his compassion and earnest interest in all that walk through that church door.
“I invest in CCC because people need an authentic demonstration of Christ,” Phil explains. The Lord has blessed this ministry and continues everyday.
Scott and Mary Palin, Children’s Ministry Leader and Treasurer:
Scott and his delightful wife Mary have been part of the CCC mission since before the church even acquired it’s first member. Their family have been proudly involved with CCC for the last three years.
She and Scott have been married for about 25 years with three children, Tawni, Tendra and Tygr.
Scott does his part by organizing and working with the youth of CCC, this is arranging Nursery and working closing with the Children’s Church leader.
Mary is CCC’s Treasurer. Her task is to keep the church financially stable.
“I am proud to be involved with CCC because it is a good way that we are reaching out to our community,” Mary stated.
Tawni Palin, Public Relations Manager:
Tawni has been a part of the church from the beginning, using the church start up as a project from her graduation. She graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a degree in public relations and puts it to good use for CCC.
She serves in other ways, mentor to the young girls of CCC and Children’s Church teacher on Thursday nights. You will usually see her with a focused look on her face or she will be the one running around with a camera.
“I’ve never been pushed in my walk with Christ as hard as I have since I’ve become a part of Central Community Church,” Tawni claims.
